Rosaway is a Chic Electro-Pop duo from Paris, France, captivating audiences with their unique blend of electronic sounds, soulful vocals, and live instruments, including flute and drums. Founded by visionary musicians, Rosaway is a sonic exploration that bridges modern electronic music with the iconic sounds of the 80s, drawing influences from legends like Donna Summer and Rick James.
The duo consists of Rachel Ombredane, a classically trained flutist and vocalist with a degree in musicology. She has worked as a backing vocalist for Ed Sheeran and Jain and is a leading figure in electro-acoustic flute internationally. Stéphane Avellaneda is an internationally acclaimed drummer who toured over 35 countries as the official drummer for Ana Popovic. He has shared the stage with legends like Jonny Lang, BB King, and Buddy Guy, and was named one of the TOP 5 Blues Drummers in 2015.
In 2022, Rosaway was ‘’up for consideration’’ for the Grammy Awards (Best Pop Duo/Group Performance) , and their song "Dreamer" reached the final two tracks in the selection process for the Super Bowl T-Mobile commercial.

Après la Californie, Memphis et la Nouvelle Orléans, c’est à Paris que Rachel et SteF posent leurs valises et fondent ROSAWAY en 2017.
Inspirés par leurs expériences passées sur les routes avec de grands artistes américains de la scène Pop et
Blues (Ana Popovic, Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang…), les deux musiciens imaginent une Soul groovy, métissée et « feel good » portée par la voix aérienne de Rachel dont la solide
technique lui permet de varier les couleurs passant de la soul au gospel en passant par le rock.
Véritable carnet de voyages, leur dernier EP « Dreamer » nous transporte sur les routes californiennes, dans les clubs de jazz enfumés de Chicago et sur Frenchmen Street (Nouvelle
Orléans).
ROSAWAY n’en oublie pas pour autant son identité « so frenchy » en nous livrant, dans leur dernier single « Midnight », une pop acidulée et très sixties au refrain chanté
en français.
C’est sur scène que le phénomène ROSAWAY opère. La personnalité intense et hypnotique de Rachel, l’énergie débordante et communicative de SteF, sublimées par le talent de leurs deux musiciens transportent immanquablement le public.

- Rachel, récompensée par le Conservatoire d’un Diplôme National Supérieur ainsi que d’un Diplôme d’État de professeur de flûte traversière classique. Après un cursus de chant lyrique, ses envies d’explorer d’autres horizons musicaux la projettent sur la scène du Zénith et sur les plateaux de télévision où elle chantera (chœur) pour des artistes de la scène internationale tels que Ed Sheeran, Jain, Brocken Back…
- SteF, batteur blues, artiste international.
Après avoir fait ses armes au sein du groupe de blues Mercy, il monte sur scène aux côtés la guitariste Serbe Ana Popovic. Devenu son batteur officiel, il sillonne les routes, joue dans une trentaine de pays, partage la scène avec de grands musiciens (Jonny Lang, BB King, Keb Mo, Buddy Guy…). En 2015, les Drummies Awards le classent dans le Top 5 des batteurs mondiaux (catégorie blues).
SteF a également joué avec Ben Poole (UK), Carlos Johnson (USA), Robyn Bennett (USA-FR), MontparnassE (FR), Marko Balland (FR)...

- Rachel received her Bachelors of Music in Flute Performance, a Diploma in Music Education, a Masters in Musicology at the Sorbonne in Paris, and later pursued vocal studies. Rachel is passionate for many musical genres and thus her music career has extended into numerous avenues, including TV performances singing with international artists such as Ed Sheeran, Jain, Brocken Back, etc., and in prestigious venues such as the Zenith in Paris.
- SteF is a drummer and international touring artist. He started his professional journey as part of the band Mercy and later collaborated with Serbian guitarist Ana Popovic. He became her official drummer and has toured around the world to over 30 countries. He has played with: Carlos Johnson, Ben Poole, Robyn Bennett... and shared the stage with musicians such as Jonny Lang, BB King, Keb Mo and Buddy Guy. Stef was voted as one of the TOP 5 Blues Drummers by the ''Drummies'' award 2015.
